Holly J just knew it. She could sense it, long before it might have even happened. Blue was seeing Clare.
Naturally, he said nothing was going on.
"She's just tutoring, me." He looked at her blankly. "You know how bad I am at math."
"Yeah, shouldn't you have graduated years ago." She was snide with him in the hall at school, hugging her books, but she could use them as weapons if she had too.
"Just drop it." He glared at her. "I don't bother you. You don't give a shit about me. What's your problem?"
"She's way too young for you. You could get in big trouble, you know." She warned him.
"But there is no trouble." He was adamant about it.
Holly J gave him an evil look. She was going to get to the bottom of this, or else.
"If I were you," he finally said. "I'd be much more worried of that player of yours, Declan. How do you know he's not play'n you for a fool? I was always true to you from the very beginning, but that was never enough for you, now was it." There was a bitterness in his voice she'd never heard before. It was true. She was building some angst up. She wondered just where it would go.
