say it ain't so

"What?" Clare didn't believe this. Blue was the exception to the rule. She hadn't felt so great about anyone since..since KC. And this was so important. She needed him. She needed this. Trouble was brewing with her parents. It was just a matter of time before they split. "You're leaving me?"

He had graduated high school after all, hadn't he?

"I know, its this last minute thing. They lost my diploma or something, and now it looks like I can get into this art school in New York City." He was serious. She guessed it was the truth.

"Can I come with you?" OK, maybe she sounded like a child, and they were in the ally behind the Dot.

"No, don't you see?" He tried to smile. "You have to stay here. Finish up. Be the smartest girl at Degrassi. I have to go."

"But I don't want you too." Her body certainly didn't. She reached for him then, pulling her toward him as she hung on to his belt loops. She wanted him. She was certain of it. Couldn't he do this one last little thing for her? Before he had to go? She closed her eyes hoping he found his way to make her happy one last time.

it couldn't be a mistake

Blue wanted to take it to the next level with Clare. A trip perhaps.

"Its not a game," Jane looked at him blankly. Why was she bothering him now?

OK, they'd had a one night stand once because she thought Spinner was just a little too aggressive. Of course, she'd done as she pleased with Blue. After all, it was her way of maybe getting back at Spin. And he had been like a fast food throw away, afterwards.

"Did I say it was?" Blue tensed. "I love her." It was so simple. Yet, he didn't dare dwell on it. Girls around her seemed to hate that word.

They had met at the mall and were chilling with a shake now.

"I just think you need someone, a little more sophisticated." She gave him a dead stare.

"Like you?" He smiled thought it was a laugh. He hardly found her that way. "This is real what Clare and I have and..and I wouldn't cheat on her. I just wouldn't." Blue told her.

"What if she's cheating on you?" Jane told him. "Look, just come to New York with me. You'll love it there. Just stay away from little children like her. All right. I'd be good for you. I honestly would."

Blue sucked at his shake. She had to be lying about Clare. She just had too.

just a plunge

Spinner raced home. He felt the urge to hit something. But when he turned around, there was Holly J right behind him.

"STOP IT!" He looked down at her.

"What are you gonna do, Spin?" Holly looked so worked up and worried.

"What, you think I'm going to rip that little head of that player of yours, right off his so perfect body!" Spinner swelled up, meaner than a bull-frog.

"NO." Holly shook her head. "YOU CAN'T!" She swayed with him as he tried his best for her to get out of his way.

"HOLLY J! I have to! I need this." He gritted. His fists were ready to pound Declan as soon as he found him. Only, Holly's lips rushed in, and she kissed as hard as she could.

"Don't do this! Please!" She whispered with all her might. She kept looking into his eyes, and he melted. She kissed him once more to show him that it wasn't worth tracking down Declan just to get in a fight with him.

He breathed her in. His heart slowed a bit. He was once so bitter, but now he was turning into jello perhaps, for Holly J. Spinner hugged her. She didn't let go. He knew he needed her. He did want to be with her. He wasn't going to give Jane another thought. That was over. It was all over. Spinner closed his eyes and felt Holly J's lips again. It was like he was really home. This time.
